Dogecoin Address Validation
Check a Dogecoin address: Base58Check encoding, the Dogecoin version bytes and the checksum that catches typos. No on-chain lookup.

How to call it
The same tool through each route. MCP clients reach it through Strale’s server at https://api.strale.io/mcp; the call below is what the agent sends.
# Free tool: works without a key, within a monthly allowance. Add your key for more.

)) Limitations
Legacy address formats only — no SegWit
Supports Base58Check P2PKH and P2SH addresses only. SegWit and bech32 addresses are not supported.
Format and checksum only — no on-chain check
Validates address shape and checksum only. Does not check whether the address has a balance, has been used, or whether it controls any DOGE.
What to do instead: Use a Dogecoin full node or block explorer API for on-chain state.
Could be confused with chains sharing version bytes
DOGE shares its 0x71 testnet P2PKH version byte with several other Bitcoin-derivative testnets. If chain disambiguation matters, validate against the expected chain explicitly.
