How to call it
The same tool through each route. MCP clients reach it through Strale’s server at https://api.strale.io/mcp; the call below is what the agent sends.
# Needs an API key. max_price_cents caps what this call may cost.

Only formal collective proceedings — not general company filings
Scoped to familleavis="collective" (redressement judiciaire, liquidation judiciaire, sauvegarde, procédure de rétablissement professionnel). Company creation, deregistration, and annual account filings are out of scope — use french-company-data for general registry lookup.
A zero-result answer means no matching notice was found, not a clean-bill-of-health guarantee
BODACC coverage begins in the 2000s in this open dataset; older proceedings, and any procedure not published to BODACC, will not appear. An empty result does not affirmatively prove the company has never been insolvent.
What to do instead: Cross-check company_name search results manually — company names are not deduplicated across SIREN in BODACC's own data
company_name search uses substring matching, not fuzzy/normalized matching
The 'like' filter on commercant is a literal substring match against BODACC's stored company name, which is not accent- or legal-form-normalized. Prefer 'siren' when known for an exact match.
